Sonnmatt Senior Citizens Center
In collaboration with interior designer Diana Kreis from Zuzwil, a showcase project of a user-centred concept for age-appropriate living was created - in the new construction and conversion of the Sonnmatt senior centre in Uzwil.
The feel of natural materials and the effect of fresh, modern colours played just as important a role as the ergonomics of the furnishings and the numerous opportunities to retreat into privacy.
The brief for Zingg-Lamprecht included furnishing and equipping the residents' rooms, balconies and retreat niches, multi-purpose rooms, dining areas, restaurant, reception and prayer room, as well as the meeting room, quiet areas for staff, office and meeting rooms and the staff restaurant.
