60 days, 30 knots...
The Zingg-Lamprecht team had a time window of just 60 days for the entire realisation - from placing the order to moving into the new offices of IR Maritime Services (Switzerland) AG.

Cast off...
IRI Corporate & Maritime Services (Switzerland) AG was able to rely on the experience and precise planning reliability of Zingg-Lamprecht for the design of the new Swiss branch on Limmatquai in Zurich.
IRI has been managing maritime and corporate programmes since 1948 and is involved in the administration of the flag state of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI).
Headquartered in Reston, Virginia, USA, near Washington, DC, IRI has 28 offices in the world's major shipping and financial centres.

Only 8 weeks - from order to move-in
In the midst of time pressure and a tight deadline, the Zingg-Lamprecht team immediately began developing the concept for the new location. The challenge was to realise not only efficient planning but also creative design. Innovative ideas for the interior design were developed within the given 60 days, starting with the placing of the order and ending with the move-in.
In order to bring more light into the 150 square metre office, the team decided to open up the walls to create an open and inviting atmosphere. At the same time, special attention was paid to the entrance area, which was given a prestigious flair with customised carpentry work and the design of a mini lounge.
The concept development played a decisive role in combining the spatial requirements with aesthetic elements to create an inspiring working environment. Despite the time pressure, the team succeeded in turning the vision into reality and transforming the new location into an appealing and functional workplace.





New direction: from a dull room to a radiant office
A complete transformation was initiated: The ceiling was given a modern makeover, the walls were redesigned and the existing parquet floor was carefully reworked to shine in new splendour.
The spatial concept included the complete remodelling of the kitchen, both the individual and open-plan offices, the meeting and server room as well as the entrance area with custom-made built-in cupboards and an attractive mini lounge. This overall concept was rounded off with well thought-out lighting, effective shading solutions and, finally, a suitable planting concept.
